About Miracle in Sight
The team at Miracle In Sight specializes in one miracle in particular: seeing babies before they're born, via elective ultrasounds. As moms-to-be undergo the simple procedure, friends and family watch along in the clinic's cozy family room, with seating for up to eight and a 42-inch plasma TV. Its screen shows ultrasounds in a choice of three formats:
- 2D: This is the most basic, flat-looking image, one you might get in a doctor's office during prenatal appointments. Technicians can typically make out the baby's gender and general shape, but little else.
- 3D: This is a more life-like image that offers a sense of depth. Viewers can often see details such as the baby's nose or fingers.
- 4D: The fourth dimension here is time. This is essentially a short live-stream of the unborn baby; viewers can watch the youngster kick, stretch, and smile.
