About A Chat with Nino Schembri Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Head instructor and multiple time world champion, Nino Schembri, teaches his style of high level jiu jitsu for a unique, authentic, and highly effective Brazilian Jiu Jitsu experience. All ages and skill levels are welcome to train. We teach to improve the whole person: body, mind, and lifestyle.
What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Stay relaxed, have patience, and remember to breathe. Jiu jitsu takes years to learn and a lifetime to perfect. Learn the fundamentals before jumping to the fancy techniques.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
After receiving his black belt at the early age of twenty, Nino began his journey to attain almost every Brazilian Jiu Jitsu title of his time. During this time, he also cultivated his passion for teaching, and now teaches full-time to the next generation of jiu jitsu practitioners.
What do you love most about your job?
I love sharing my passion for jiu jitsu to my students. They have become my extended family, and it's very rewarding to watch their jiu jitsu and overall lives improve as they train more and more.
