About A Chat with Parker's Martial Arts Academy
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We offer classes in multiple martial arts - traditional Chinese (open hand and weapons), Hyper acrobatics, combat MMA, T'ai Chi Chuan, and Kali/Arnis/Escrima - and kickboxing-based fitness classes for those who wish to concentrate on getting in shape, all in the area's biggest martial arts facility.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Grandmaster James Parker, 10th-degree Black Belt, inductee into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame, and former Navy SEAL, has been teaching martial arts for over 30 years, after having studied martial arts around the world since the age of 6.
What do you love most about your job?
Grandmaster Parker and the instructors at Parker's Martial Arts Academy love to help students improve themselves, both physically and personally. Watching students grow in strength and confidence in themselves is the greatest joy we have as teachers.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
