What You'll Get
Earth, an alluring enigma, is balanced in the void of space upon two poles over which it sensuously spins and ineffably shimmies. Harness the power of your polarity with today's Groupon: for $50, you get a 10-class punch pass at Pearl by Adult Dance and Fitness in Midvale (a $130 value).
Pearl by Adult Dance and Fitness's welcoming instructors enlighten students of all levels with the tricks and twirls of pole dancing and aerial workouts. The punch card grants access to an array of novice to advanced classes, beginning with the Intro to Pearl class, which initiates newbies via three basic moves on the pole, silk, hoop, and trapeze. For ladies semi-fluent in pole speak, the Pole Combinations Beginners class fuses dance combos from previous pole classes to create challenging, new routines while increasing levitating endurance. A Black Light session unleashes inner vixens for an hour of sexy pole spinning and body trimming, and the Silks Knots and Climbing intro class flips and flings bodies across long, draping aerial silks inspired by Cirque du Soleil and wedding-aisle runners.
Pearl's open studio space dangles aerial silks and flying contraptions from the studio's high-vaulted ceiling, and the intimate pole fitness room displays shiny hardwood flooring affixed with two rows of metal beams. Additional amenities include a small retail lounge, a cozy waiting area lit by a soft, hazy glow, and a spacious dressing room outfitted with a chalkboard canvas beckoning casserole recipes. Check here for additional information about classroom attire and etiquette.

About Onyx Pole and Aerial Fitness Studio
The dress code of each fitness class at Onyx tells a lot about the curriculum: the shorter the shorts, the better in the pole fitness classes, as contact between the bare skin and the pole helps keeps students in gravity-defying inversion. Meanwhile, it’s better to wear long pants for the aerial fitness classes—you can avoid rope burn this way while climbing the silks that hang in the spacious aerial studio. These two types of classes make up the majority of Onyx Pole and Aerial Fitness Studio’s classes, and though the classes are fun, the instructors take the fitness aspect seriously, too. To that end, they offer boot camp, bodyrock, and core pole classes to help students achieve their overall fitness goals.
