Salvador Molly's staff emulates legendary namesake Captain Salvador by pillaging culinary treasures from Ethiopia, Thailand, Hawaii, Korea, and Jamaica and gathering them together in an eatery that grew from humble beginnings as a hot-tamale cart. Both the Sunset Boulevard and the Milwaukie Avenue locations feature the Great Balls of Fire fritters—spicy spheres featured on the Travel Channel's Man v. Food. Strawberry, Mango, Coconut, Lime, Banana, Orange, Peach, or Passion Fruit smoothies are also available at each restaurant. And both places welcome newcomers to try unique blends of foreign herbs, spices, and creative recipes in a colorful environment with an exotic décor.
