About Shaolin Wushu Center
You'd be hard-pressed to find a better wushu master in the United States than Hu Jianqiang. A two-time national champion in China, Hu also spent years as an actor and stunt fighter, even mapping out fight scenes in several Jet Li films. In 1997, Hu founded the now bicoastal Shaolin Wushu Center with wife Zong Jianmei. They're still there today, leading a packed schedule of adult and children's classes in the many forms of Wushu. The center hosts classes in the sport's barehand and weapons variations, as well as supplementary lessons in kung fu and tai chi. The center also offers Wushu choreography which can be seen in movies, and many TV shows.
