What You'll Get
Photographs of precious moments are the greatest gifts relatives can leave behind for their descendants, aside from genes for cowlick-resistant hair or hints to where the inheritance is buried. Pass on a transgenerational treasure with today’s Groupon: for $54, you get a photo-shoot package from sknow design (a $300 value) valid within 30 miles of zip code 21401. This package includes the following:
- A two-hour photo shoot.
- An 8”x10” print.
- A take-home CD of digital prints.<p>
sknow design’s founder, Sarah Knowlton, puts her resumé of passionate interests, including photographic composition, to use as she captures clients in retina-regaling portraits at the location of their choosing. During the two-hour sitting, Sarah blends photojournalistic methods with classical aesthetics—much like National Geographic photographers who wear powdered wigs—to yield evocative kodachromes. After two hours of smiling, pouting, and elongating e sounds, take home an 8”x10” print of your favorite image and a CD of digital prints from the session.

About Sknow Design
Sarah Mitchell went to school for graphic design, but discovered her passion for photography on a trip Uganda. Picking up a couple nice lenses so she could document her trip appropriately, she came home with a slew of pictures that inspired friends and family to commission her to do their wedding and family portraits. Sarah still holds some of the sensibilities from those original Ugandan photographs, capturing her subjects in natural light in simple, candid moments. She photographs wedding, engagements, family portraits, and inanimate beauty found in nature around the world.
