Well the buffet tasted great! However, I asked the woman if there was any of the milk chai that they usually make for buffets, but she told me they weren't going to make any more. (That was the main reason I came there!) Then I asked about silverware and she rudely glanced over to where the silverware was sitting at the buffet. Also, you have to pay a few more dollars due to tax.

Chicken burnt. Never got refill on drinks. Plates left on our table.

While there was a good variety in the buffet, it was generally very bland. My husband and I were disappointed when we saw they did not have any tandoori chicken. Value was worth it with a Groupon but I would not return otherwise.

About Taj Mahal Restaurant

Once a dining party slides into a smoky-blue booth under hanging green lights, it's not long before the group is joined by the stars of the evening––stuffed dishes of tandoori chicken and fish cured in the heat of a charcoal clay oven. Black-and-white portraits of historical figures look on with jealousy as patrons kiss scoops of vegetarian and lamb curry dishes, sopped up with warm naan or whole-wheat roti. Meals move from savory to sweet with fruity yogurt drinks and traditional Indian desserts such as the delicate dumplings of gulab jamun—spongy milky balls soaked in a rose-scented syrup with the same sugar content as a baby's giggle.
