Choose Between Two Options

  • $69 for an eight-week Running 101 program ($139 value)
  • $69 for an eight-week Running 201 program ($139 value)

The 101 program focuses on new runners or athletes returning to the sport after an injury. Designed to bridge the gap between walking and running, the program is for those who can run 30–60 seconds without a break. The 101 program helps athletes better their techniques and increase the amount they can run, all the while preparing students to run a 5K–10K race.

The 201 program is for more experienced runners who can complete a mile in 9 or fewer minutes or run 5 miles without stopping. This program helps improve runners' 5K–10K performance and build their endurances to race longer distances.

Both Running 101 and Running 201 meet for at least 60 minutes twice a week; students are encouraged to attend one session a week. The sessions focus on building endurance, interval training, and technique. A gait and running analysis is also performed to help prevent injuries, and a training schedule includes suggested runs to practice when the class doesn't meet. New participants receive a race-team shirt.

The Fit Potato

Boot-camp classes offer team support while working through cardio and strength exercise, and a Training for Runners program helps build endurance with like-minded participants. The staff focuses on individual fitness goals during personal-training sessions in the gym or at the client’s home or favorite elevator.
