About The Lakes at El Segundo
The Lakes at El Segundo invites players of every persuasion to send drives screaming down the lush green dance floor fairways of a nine-hole municipal course. The par 29 layout totals seven par 3s and a pair of par 4s that include a wide range hole lengths, from 78 yards on No. 6 up to 261 yards on No. 9. The relatively short layout (1,340 yards from the white tees) and speedy pace of play (rounds generally clock in at 1.5 hours or less) help ease in beginners and novices who might get spooked by long par 5s and doglegs that seem to lead players around in an eternal spiral. Meanwhile, more seasoned players can enjoy the challenge of a short game test and reps on the 57-stall driving range.
