Four simple letters sum up the training at The Train Station: HIIT. When broken apart with a firm karate chop, that acronym translates into high-intensity interval training. In other words, the trainers here lead exercisers through intense bursts of activity followed by lighter periods of rest and recovery. This type of training is designed to get hearts pumping, and it can burn more fat and calories than many aerobic exercises.
The certified trainers, Jeremy Whisennant, Kristen Nunn, and Melody Lown, also lead other exercise programs, including personal training, yoga, and tae kwon do for ages five and older. Jeremy can help people recover through physical therapy, as well.
