My server was great, but the groupon itself is not the value it use to be. The groupon says the value is $150.00, but the way they have the menu set up now you are going the leave 30 to 40 dollars on the table because they have taken the more expensive items off the menu like the double crab cake. Now you get the single crab cake for $23 and if you want two you have to pay $18 out of pocket. I've used this groupon for years so I know the differance.

The food was amazing. Very classy interior. I left something at the table and our server rushed outside to return it to me. Went there for our anniversary.

About Tony and Joe's Seafood Place

The waterfront patio at Tony and Joe's Seafood Place has one of the best views of DC. Guests here sit from their perch in Georgetown and look out over the Potomac River, Roosevelt Island, Kennedy Center, Washington Monument, and the Key Bridge.

Taking in the view, guests tip back oysters on the half shell and sink their forks into spicy blackened mahi-mahi with jasmine rice and mango butter or enjoy a broiled jumbo crab cake served with sauteed zucchini, corn, marbled potatoes, and red pepper berre blanc. Despite the restaurant's apparent marine theme, patrons can also devour a generous portion of an expertly grilled angus New York Strip, then wash it all down with glasses of wine—feel free to talk to the friendly staff about possible pairings.
