What You'll Get
Kids love to have fun in the summer, whether shooting water balloons at friends or sitting inside and thinking about Halloween. Make the most of summer with this Groupon.
Choose from Three Options
- $149 for a two-day marine-science snorkeling camp ($300 value)
- $209 for a three-day marine-science Zuba camp ($420 value)
- $359 for a five-day marine-science snorkeling and Zuba camp ($720 value)
The snorkeling camp, held Monday–Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., includes practice snorkeling in Unified Team Diving's heated pool and learning about area aquatic creatures. The next day, at an ocean venue, snorkelers head out to find and photograph these creatures using underwater cameras.
During the Zuba camp, held Wednesday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., kids learn to scuba-dive without the hassle of a tank on their backs. Instead, the students are tethered to the raft and supplied air from the surface, allowing them to dive up to 20 feet deep safely and securely. Campers learn about marine animals, then aim to photograph them with underwater cameras during two days of diving.
A $34.95 fee for class materials is not included in this Groupon. Both camps run most weeks throughout the summer.

About Unified Team Diving
The staff at Unified Team Diving can transform someone who's never scuba dived before into a professional diver with their expansive menu of classes and courses. In their onsite heated swimming pool, instructors orient students to the world of breathing and exploring underwater. Combined with classroom sessions, they can award their students various certifications such as recreational diver, technical diver, diving instructor, and overhead diver, which includes cave diving. They conduct their training dives at the nearby La Jolla shores, which offer shallow wrecks, walls, and kelp for students to explore.
