Black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, and cumin are just a select few of the spices in the chef's arsenal at Urban Turban, where both meaty and vegetarian Indian cuisine has won the restaurant ample fans and even a spot on Las Vegas Eater's list of "The 24 Hottest Restaurants in Las Vegas Right Now." And in the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Best of Las Vegas 2016, it was voted the no. 2 ethnic restaurant in the city.
Yet as popular as the restaurant's Bombay-style tapas and entrees have become, curries remain a fan favorite, coming in varieties such as egg or Bombay butter chicken. Other food is made for sharing, such as tandoori chicken tapas or the Bombay tapas platter with gun powder shrimps, garlic shrimps, lamb seekh kababs, and more.
Unlike the tapas, the drinks tend to be closely guarded by whoever ordered them. Bartenders make signature drink the Bourbon Turban with Jim Beam, Amaretto, Cointreau, some fresh-squeezed orange juice, and just a bit of cranberry.
