What You'll Get
There are few things as liberating as being able to fly, which is why humans invented airplanes and why penguins constantly try to sabotage them by climbing into their jet engines. Feel the freedom of the skies with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $99 for 15-minute powered parachute flights for two (a $200 value)
- $49 for a 15-minute powered parachute flight for one (a $100 value)
Certified instructor Paul Whybrew takes customers into the air in a two-seat, powered parachute trainer. Riders are gently lifted off the ground, as the open-cockpit PPC sails at speeds of 25–35 mph during a relaxing 15-minute ride. The ideal flying times are early in the morning or the last couple hours of daylight, and introductory lessons can be contributed toward training requirements should customers choose to pursue their own pilot license.

About Why Fly Inc.
From his first “low and slow” flight in a powered parachute, novice Paul Whybrew was hooked. After snatching up his own Buckeye Dream Machine and earning his flight license, Whybrew created Why Fly Inc. with his wife Susie in order to share the unique, open-air cockpit experience with others. A passionate ambassador for the PPC experience, Whybrew takes guests into the skies while also helping fellow devotees earn their sport pilot powered parachute certified flight instructor certificate.
