The Zombie Race takes place on Sunday, July 12. The 15K starts at 9:30 a.m., and waves of 5K runners depart every half hour from 10 a.m. to noon. After they cross the finish line, runners relax at an after-party with live entertainment and enjoy their included free beer and a $10 voucher for race merchandise, as well as a sack pack and finisher’s medal.
Campsites sleep up to six for two nights. Campers should arrive Friday, July 10, between 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., and depart on Sunday, July 12, by 5 p.m.
Sometimes you need to get away from the stress of the workaday world and immerse yourself in the stress of a cannibal wasteland. During the Zombie Race, runners navigate a winding path beset with ravenous hordes of the undead. Every human starts the race with three health flags—which the zombies are dying to capture. Those who make it through with their flags intact can join the ranks of Zombie Race Survivalists. Those who lose all their flags are still allowed to finish, but should probably follow up with a trusted healthcare provider for an anti-zombification vaccine.

About Great Vision Productions
Great Vision Productions doesn't disappoint when it comes to doing what it does best: producing fun-filled events. The Holi Color Run pairs runners and paint to create a multihued dash in which both runners and volunteers in the crowd douse each other with paint and colored powder. Serving as the after-party to a 5–15K race, the Holi Color Festival was conceived as an amped-up version of a traditional Indian festival celebrating the beginning of the new year, the forgiving of debts, and eye-popping colors. Wearing complimentary sunglasses, partygoers dance the night away as live EDM DJs spins hot tunes. Finally, the Zombie Race creates a pulse-pounding post-apocalyptic world in which participants attempt to outrun the undead while not becoming zombies themselves.
