At Nuno's Cafe, owner and head chef Nuno Teixeira injects a little Portuguese flair into almost every dish. Drawing on his childhood spent in Portugal, he stuffs the Mom's omelette with Portuguese chorizo alongside heaps of cheddar cheese and sauteed peppers and onions. For a sweet treat, Nuno tops his A Portuguesa croquettes with sumptuous vanilla ice cream, a dusting of powdered sugar, and chocolate drizzle for good measure. Nuno crafts each breakfast and lunch plate from scratch, harnessing skills developed during his almost 20 years in the restaurant industry.
