As an NCAA Division 1 athlete at the University of Michigan, Dr. Pauline Haugen discovered chiropractic care after a spate of frustrating injuries. Her personal experience with pain had driven her to identify its root cause rather than simply treating surface symptoms. Along with the all-female team at Higher Health Chiropractic, Dr. Haugen combines this search for answers with a varied roster of treatments, Chiropractic care, Pilates rehabilitation, and massage therapy. Dr. Haugen also administers spinal decompression therapy used for disc injuries and chronic low back and neck pain, as well as cold laser therapy to reduce inflammation and pain.
