Parents know that kids should be active, but finding an activity that's just the right fit can be tough. Well, not at Breakaway Sports Charlotte Summer Camp. Rather than drilling a single sport for hours each day, Breakaway's approach is to let kids try them all, and then some.

Inside the large air-conditioned facility, kids try their hand at traditional pastimes, such as basketball, football, and soccer. The fun doesn't stop there, though. Obstacle courses, inline hockey, and capture the flag help mix things up. And kids looking for a truly unique sport can try their hands—or feet, rather—at bubble soccer. The game is played just like it's regular counterpart, except that players deck out their upper halves with huge inflatable orbs that allow them to dive and tumble all over the field without fear of getting hurt.

Keeping a watchful eye over each camper is the staff of counselors. They're not just experts in the various sports at camp, but are also well equipped to handle any problems should they arise. Each one is background checked, as well as certified in first aid and CPR.
