Mighty Children's Museum, Chillicothe

What began as a vision shared by three local moms has now blossomed into the Mighty Children's Museum. Its founders created Mighty with the support of their local community and a board of directors consisting of other area parents, all who hoped to provide their young children with a safe, engaging place to play and learn simultaneously.

• Why?: To provide its community's youth with interactive learning and playing experiences, making early childhood learning fun and accessible
• Who's it for?: The museum is best suited for children eight and younger, though older children will still enjoy the exhibits.
• What to do?: Parents usher their kids through the museum's many engaging exhibits that combine safe, interactive play with various learning experiences. For example, kids pretend to be archaeologists in an excavation exhibit, shop for fruits and veggies in a play grocery store, and learn the basics of physics on the museum's captivating water table.
