YogaSteady, Falls Church

YogaSteady is a traditional hot yoga community of students and teachers in Falls Church, Virginia that offers beginner, heated yoga classes for all levels of practitioners.

Jenifer and Michael, the owners, each started practicing Hot Yoga (which was known at the time as Bikram Yoga) around 2005 and immediately experienced the amazing life-changing benefits. They met many years later in 2014 and worked together as an Owner/Manager team until 2020.

The Bikram brand eventually dissolved, the tried-and-true yoga practice separated from the organization, and scores of yoga studios either closed or were abandoned. But their partnership was stronger than ever.

They decided to rebrand during the pandemic despite the fact that the brick-and-mortar fitness community had been obliterated. They got up every single day with patience and determination to rebuild a fractured yoga community.

The real innovation began when they formed our official business partnership in 2021. Enter YogaSteady. Now, they've developed and currently run their own teacher training in affiliation with the Original Hot Yoga Association (OHYA) and the Yoga Alliance. They continue to work with and mentor a robust, talented, and diversified teaching staff who teach both In-Studio and Virtually. The number of students who walk through their doors has doubled since re-opening and emerging from years of being shut down.

They absolutely knew this powerful method of yoga had worked for millions of people around the world regardless of what it was called, and they knew it was their responsibility to continue to share it with others. They passionately believe in the daily and immediate healing that yoga can bring to all kinds of people, backgrounds, and body types who want to show up for themselves.
