While New York Icons teaches girls and boys how to tumble and cheer as part of a competitive cheerleading team, their overall mission aims to inspire self-confidence, discipline, and teamwork within each student during competition. Lessons impart intermediate and advanced cheer techniques in a safe setting, while performances give kids a chance to shine in front of their peers at regional and national competitions. At the end of the day, New York Icons coaches not only aspire to mentor their athletes, but to also instill sportsmanship, integrity, and the ability to have fun while doing so.
