At Lenny's Subs, a half-pound sub is considered "regular." That might not be the standard at the typical sub shop, but that's the way its staff assembles regular-sized subs made with freshly baked bread. If you attempt a large sub, that'll mean scarfing down a full pound. That includes the slices of beef stuffed inside a philly cheesesteak, the cornerstone of the entire Lenny's Subs franchise. The first location filled a hole in the sub and cheesesteak market in Memphis in 1998, but today, Lenny's sates sandwich cravings throughout the country.
