The Brew Bus Jacksonville, Jacksonville

Like the beers showcased during a craft-brewery tour, The Brew Bus's concept is simple, complex, mouthwatering, and a little exciting. Since first taking to the streets in 2011, The Brew Bus has led tours through more than 100 craft breweries in Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, and South Florida. Their signature tours—sampler and full pour tours—visit local craft breweries for a look, and a taste, at local breweries and their malty yield. The company also offers specialty brewery tours that center around neighborhoods, sports teams, and special events.

When the Brew Bus crew got a license to serve beer in their buses, they didn't just want to serve samples from the breweries they visit: they also decided to make their own. Here's a quick look at a few of the brews available:

• Double Decker: a dark brown, heavily malted English-style porter that won a bronze medal at the 2014 US Open Beer Championship (6.5% ABV)

• Rollin' Dirty: with flavors of caramel and chocolate, thus deep amber Irish-style red ale has won two consecutive bronze medals at the Best Florida Beer Competition (5% ABV)
