As Coast Guard-certified charter captains, George and Carla Bellenger have made their living plying the waters around the Florida Keys for more than 20 years. They plan to do it for 20 more years, as well, by promoting conservational efforts with with every trip they lead as the owners of Key West Eco Tours. Whether sailing catamarans, leading groups of kayakers, or going for a swim at the best snorkling spots, they always keep the safety and preservation of animals and habitat in mind. Of course, they still enjoy showing off the stunning natural beauty of backwater mangrove mazes, sunsets over the gulf, and wild lobsters and eels having tea together. They believe that personal experience with such sites encourages people to consider how to make conservation a part of their own lives.
