Wildhaven Ranch, Cedar Glen

Wildhaven Ranch offers sanctuary to native wildlife in the San Bernardino Mountains National Forest. One of the favorite 'Wild Ones' to visit is Snickers, an orphaned bear cub in 2005. The mother bear, desperate for food, would occasionally break into empty cabins and forage to support her family. Sadly, Snickers lost her mother and was adopted by the sanctuary and is currently an Animal Ambassador on Tour. The Ranch serves to preserve wildlife and protect animals who cannot be released back into the wild. The staff also serves as an educational resource to teach people about wild animals, their habitats, and the issues facing their ecosystem.
