What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

loftVR Arcade offers the state-of-the-art in virtual reality experiences in Miami and South Florida. We are the only company in South Florida publicly showcasing VR featuring the HTC VIVE, a next generation virtual reality headset which is miles ahead of phone-based setups or previous generation headsets people are used to.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

The reactions from the people experiencing immersive virtual reality using next generation headsets had us convinced that virtual reality is here to stay but that more people needed to experience it and learn about it. It's hard to explain through words how magical it is, it's something you really need to experience in person to get a sense of where the excitement comes from.

What do you love most about your job?

Having someone that is hesitant about virtual reality or thinking that they've tried it before when they've only tried inferior versions like phone-based VR, plugging them in, and having them completely in awe with the difference in quality and the entertainment value between what they've tried and what we offer at loftVR Arcade.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

It was definitely when a guest instantly flipped their headset off when they saw zombies coming their way! We're all pretty good with zombies on TV but in virtual reality... WATCH OUT!
