My long history of construction back to the 70's doing work. Teaching construction to kids at the Marine Bases that were in OC some 30 years ago. She also builds furniture for kids to paint through a nonprofit she is involved with. www.CreateToLearn.org The web site was built by CSUF and they did an interview with a student on her children's involvement.

I enjoys bringing in children to help paint their rooms. The kids can have the experience of helping in the painting their own room. Adults I worked with as children remember the experience and at no additional cost your kids to help and learn. About 30 years ago Indiana State University produced a video presentation on her to encourage children to seek non-traditional professions. Now I hope to do a TV show teaching construction to children.

As a general contractor my children helped her build large homes from the ground up. In my 20's I developed about 20 acres into home sites in Indiana. When my son was 17 years old we put a light weight concrete roof on a six level home I built near Lake Arrowhead. During the Laguna Beach fires in the 90's I was pouring a 3 car parking drive.

I suggest my clients take a note book and make up a list of things they would like to do to their homes. Maybe do them or at least have the list as a wish list for the future. Your home is a huge investment and taking care of it is important. I would love to help with your investment.
