Licensed massage therapist Joseph Lizana wasn't content just offering the staple massage styles: Swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone. He wanted to offer his clients a more versatile service menu. So after graduating massage school, Joseph returned to a second school to learn even more techniques.

Today, that versatility shows at his practice, Guided Touch Therapies. The massage modalities he uses—more than 15 of them in all—include the Trager approach, which relieves tension via gentle rocking motions. He also performs the rare and impressively named "Bindegewebsmassage," which loosens the surface levels of the fascia. With his extensive training, Joseph can meet the needs of all his clients, whether they prefer deep-tissue pressure or they're a reiki enthusiast.
