When developing a well-rounded basketball player, it's important to have a well-rounded coaching staff. The coaches at San Diego Sol have decades of experience as players and as coaches, better preparing them to acclimate young athletes into all aspects of the game. Through a club program and seasonal camps and clinics, players as young as five learn age- and ability-specific skills. Youth programs for boys and girls divide kids into three skill levels, keeping each tier competitive and allowing each child to sharpen fundamentals against comparable opponents. High school traveling teams, on the other hand, engage in more complex offensive and defensive schemes that aim to make each player competitive and competent at any level.
