The Paramount Theatre, Seattle

Run by the Seattle Theatre Group, a non-profit organization that also oversees the Moore and Neptune Theatres, the Paramount Theatre is a performing arts venue that hosts live music and theater shows and has, in past years, been an opening-night venue for the annual Seattle International Film Festival. First opened in 1928, and still retaining a classic feel of old entertainment, the 2,807-seat Paramount has been hailed as one of the Emerald City’s finest hubs for entertainment. Following the longtime venue’s most recent renovation, the expanded schedule now includes six performance series annually, spanning across genres from comedy and jazz to silent films and family events.
