The Fish Hole, Lakewood Ranch

A 10,000 gallon koi pond populated by fish of all sizes and colors sits at the center of The Fish Hole, where schools of golfers putt their way across the 18-hole course. Here, rounds of golf are almost secondary to the property's other attractions, which include meticulously landscaped gardens showcasing more than 50 species of native Florida plants. Lagoons and waterfalls splash softly as golfers take aim, and misters sprinkled around the course provide refreshing relief from the Florida sun so nobody has to stuff their pants with ice cream just to stay cool. At night, lights flicker to life, casting an enchanting island vibe across the entire course. They also have an additional turtle pond where turtles and fish play side by side.
