Greater Toledo Lego Club, Toledo

Lego bricks can build anything the imagination can think of, whether it's a spaceship or a castle—or even a future career. The Greater Toledo Lego Club prepares kids for careers in engineering and technology by teaching them concepts using Lego bricks, basic circuits, and everything in-between. The club offers classes in three age groups (kindergarten to 8th grade), with topics ranging from the basic concepts of gears, motors, and levers to an overview of power sources and computer-based design. Ultimately, school-age students learn the skills needed to participate in engineering and robotics competitions and show it to the snobs from the Lincoln Log Club across town.
