What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Hypnotherapy. I specialize in anxiety/trauma, but work w/ weight and smoking also; I'm well-trained, constantly learning and adapting, and well aware of other therapy methods and the research in the areas I work with; I don't promise the world, but I promise to help you discover how to change yours.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Hypnotherapy was something I discovered by accident, but something that was revolutionary for me personally. After studying it for years, I got formal training and realized that I'd been functioning as a very good amateur therapist for years anyway--so, I started 180 Theory to do what I do best.
What do you love most about your job?
I sell freedom itself. I am able to show people how to get off of autopilot and actually take control of their lives. An example of this is traumatic memories: if I can help someone to deal with the emotions and blocks that arise from those experiences then together, we can revolutionize their life.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
I gave my first client a discount we didn't discuss before the session. He angrily looks at me and hands me twice my discounted price (more than the agreed upon price). As he looks in my eyes, he tells me, "Josh, charge what you're worth. You're very good at what you do. You deserve it."
