9/11 Tribute Center

The 9/11 Tribute Center, founded by the nonprofit September 11th Families' Association, blends the informative and the emotionally honest in conveying the events and timeline of September 11, 2001, from a personal perspective. In the center's five galleries, videos, artifacts, pictures, and audio interviews with survivors create a moving portrait of the attack on September 11, 2001, and the bombing on February 26, 1993. Before looking ahead to lower Manhattan's plans for the future, the 9/11 Tribute Center shares a personal remembrance of the victims, the unprecedented rescue-and-recovery operations, and the tremendous spirit of generosity and support that arose after the attack.

Customer Reviews

We really wanted the private tour experience with a 1st responder and yet this tour was only of the tribute center and it's memorabilia and photos. There is a nice 15 minute talk about 911 by a 1st responder

This is not the 9/11 Memorial Museum, but is less than a block from the site. This center is a non-profit for the widows & family of 9/11 victims. It is an amazing place, rich on momentos, personal belongings, including pieces of the planes and WTC on display. This place will make your heart heavy as you read and hear witness statements. Definitely a touching experience. Would highly recommend it!
