A CT scan snaps images of the heart and lungs to help determine the presence of coronary calcification or lung cancer
About This Deal
The low-dose 3D CT scan takes about 10 minutes and includes a coronary calcium score (which can help predict future heart attacks), a comprehensive report, and a review of the chest images by a radiologist. The report will be sent to the patient or upon request, be sent to their physician.
The high resolution 3D CT lung scan can help find problems such as lung cancer, blocked blood flow in the lung (pulmonary embolism), and other lung problems. The scan gives more detailed images of the lungs than a chest x-ray, helps detect cancer and is able to show if a tumor has spread to the lymph nodes surrounding the lungs.
The high resolution 3D CT heart scan shows even the smallest coronary calcification in the heart, helping to prevent heart disease.
Married or cohabiting couples are required to attend consultation together for family-making decisions and family medical history information.
Restrictions: must be of 350 lbs. max weight; must be between the ages of 40–72

About Advanced Body Scan
Supervised by medical director Stanley J. Dombek Jr., MD, FACS, the experienced technicians of Advanced Body Scan peer into clients’ inner workings. With the belief that prevention is the best way to protect the body, they use a modern scanning system to detect potential health issues, such as cardiovascular disease, which kills more than one-third of all Americans, or lung cancer, the deadliest type of cancer in both men and women. The system snaps detailed images of the heart, lungs, bone structures, and other organs caged within the body. Images fly from the lens to the computer screen quickly, allowing staff to take pictures of moving organs typically blurred in traditional scans, such as a beating heart or a stomach still flipping from its first roller-coaster ride.
