Jan is not the best month to see alligators. However we did see 3 only because the tour guide knew where to look. He was very informative, kind and funny

About Airboat Factory

From the city to the swamps, Airboat Factory helps people explore the greater New Orleans area by offering educational sojourns amid the natural as well as the urban environs. Professional guides lead each tour and provide insightful narration about the area's history, and they are even capable of offering these excursions in French, Spanish, Italian, German, or Esperanto. During the city tour, guests will see everything from the French Quarter and St. Louis Cathedral to the revitalized Warehouse District's art galleries and the Greek revival mansions along St. Charles Avenue as a minibus ferries them throughout the area. Plantation outings visit two distinctive homes—including one stately manor that was originally built in 1839—and provide valuable insight into the region's history. For a brush with the natural world, Airboat Factory also offers boat rides along the marshes and waterways outside New Orleans while learning more about the local wildlife as well as they ecosystem that those animals inhabit.
