Both times i have been there i have been the only customer. The first time i went i did not have my Groupon with me and i swore i would never go back. They were not friendly and an older gentleman behind the counter spoke loudly on the phone the entire time i was there. But i decided months later to try it again, and it was much better. I don't think the location is very appealing. a better spot would draw more people and would create a better atmosphere. The place could also use a little paint inside. Overall it is very clean and the waitress was very friendly. A much better experience this time. Again the food is good if you don't care about atmosphere.

I like it. They have one restaurant in Orange County (South Orange County), Then they have two others somewhere far away. I wish they had a restaurant in North Orange County.

About Athena Gyros

The owner of Athena Gyros got his start in the restaurant business at age 18. Before immigrating to the US, he learned to cook Greek food while helping out at his grandfather's restaurant on the Mediterranean. After refining his skills at hotel restaurants and, later, his own establishments, he opened Athena Gyros. Today, chefs carefully re-create his recipes for dishes such as roasted lamb, which is slow-cooked for seven hours before being draped over rice pilaf. Diners may crunch through layers of honey-coated baklava or bring catered dinners home to serve at parties or eat secretly while living inside someone else's chimney.
