Benrus’s collection includes military-inspired designs for both men and women. Jeans are constructed from premium Turkish denim and super-soft tees are emblazoned with weathered graphics.
The average civilian may not recognize the name Benrus, but most any U.S. soldier probably would. The company found its footing producing wristwatches for WWII troops, who depended on the timepieces' flawless Swiss manufacture and durable American-made casing. This continued through the Korean and Vietnam Wars, until bankruptcy claimed the company in 1977. But in the spring of 2014, Army vet and entrepreneur Giovanni Feroce revived the brand with a collection of men's and women's apparel that includes T-shirts, jeans made from premium Turkish fabric, sunglasses, jewelry, and bags. The watches are back, too, styled after those used by the military in bygone days.
