A great presentation with free beer and wonderful atmosphere that is being improved upon. Only wish that the tour will of ended at the restaurant by the brewery. Will return again to see the rebuilding that is going on the area. Keep the tour. Great history of Milwaukee.

We loved our tour! Jim the guide had a wealth of historic information. A great place to visit & the gift shop is fun to look around in. Definitely worth your time!

Tours of the historic Pabst brewery kick off with a pint of Pabst Blue Ribbon, Schlitz, or a nonalcoholic beverage, paired with a viewing of vintage beer commercials and overview of the company. The tour winds through the former Pabst corporate offices with a visit to the office of Captain Frederick Pabst, where the guide recounts the history of the 150-year-old building. Next, groups head to the guest center for a photo opportunity with statues of the Captain and King Gambrinus, the unofficial patron saint of brewing. Tours run at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday; and on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 11 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1 p.m.

About Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery

Located inside a brick-hewn building reminiscent of a grand castle, the Best Place at the Historic Pabst Brewery recounts the history of the company’s former brewery, which dates back to 1844. Visitors tour Pabst’s corporate offices, take photos with a statue of Captain Frederick Pabst, and drink tall pints of the brewery’s concoctions. The gift shop stocks vintage Pabst memorabilia, including steins, shirts, and artwork. Best Place’s halls and courtyards can also be rented for banquets, weddings, and other events.
