Described by Frommer's as a vino-centric hot spot where "you don't have to be a wine snob to enjoy yourself," BIN 36 is equal parts wine retail store, tavern, and restaurant. And in the spirit of making fine wine accessible to all, the wine list includes straightforward descriptions of dozens of varietals that are available by the half-glass, full-glass, bottle, or handful. There are also themed flights that group wines by type or region.
Not surprisingly, the menu consists of dishes that pair beautifully with wine, from charcuterie and snacks such as spiced olives to shareable plates of house-smoked salmon and full entrees of grilled pork loin. Breakfast is served daily—with mimosas on the weekends, of course—which is a lovely time to visit the sunny, glassed-in dining areas.

“Great wine list & food”
