BrewLab was a great time! My husband has brewed a couple times at home and the class was just the right level to boost him further in his new hobby. Gary was super knowledgeable and helpful. I barely knew what was going on (lol) but we had two flights with great beer and food was great. Get the Parmesan truffle fries!

I loved bed learning how to make beer. The bad part is you are in the bar area for the class and there is a VERY loud speaker right next to the class area that we all thought they turned up once the class started

About This Deal

Choice of:

  • Homebrew Class for One
  • Homebrew Class for Two

During classes, students are taught about the ingredients, recipes, science, and terminology needed to start brewing their own beer. Beginners might opt for the extract class, which covers basic methods, while more experienced or ambitious students can pick the all-grain class, which reveals the mysteries of mashing. Regardless of the class chosen, students come back exactly two weeks later to cover bottling and take home a portion of their creation. The first class is about 3-4 hours long, while the bottling session lasts 1-2 hours.

Classes are held the first two Wednesdays of the month night at 5:30 and reservations are highly recommended. See the schedule.

About Brew Lab

What happens when an accountant, a real estate broker, an IT entrepreneur, and a college professor walk into a bar? They hatch a plan to start their own brewery, naturally. Brew Lab's 2013 conception started in just this way— with four friends wanting to give the public a taste of their favorites, while also sharing their love of home-brewing. Now, Brew Lab's space boasts a combined brewery, taproom, and kitchen, welcome to all who want to learn the art of brewing or just enjoy drinking a well-crafted beer.

Brew Lab Originals:

  • Debittered IPA: Cutting through an IPA's traditional bitterness by removing the hops from the boiling process, this blonde brew champions citrus and fruity notes (6% ABV)
  • Orodruin: A full-bodied, cascadian dark ale, heavy on the hops with bitter notes of floral and pine (9% ABV)
  • Lactose No Tolerance: A dark stout brewed with lactose and unfermentable sugar, this beer hits the palate with a sweet, roasted finish (6.2% ABV)
