What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We are not just a school but our students become family and we are in tune with teaching life skills that will enhance your life in other activities such as baseball, soccer,school or work. The discipline and repetition increases focus, hand eye coordination, perseverance and a great attitude!

Is your location strictly for adults, or can kids participate as well?
We start at age 3 1/2 all the way up to as young as 88. We have family classes available twice a week for families with 6 year old's and up. Parents don't just be the cheerleader join your children on a wonderful journey in martial arts.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Brian Chewning's Tiger Rock Martial Arts has been operating in Lexington since 1993. We are in business of changing lives by using self defense as your vehicle to success. The discipline, motivation and commitment necessary for martial arts changes your mindset. This mindset is for success

What do you love most about your job?
We love children that are aggressive and learn self control. The shy introvert gain confidence and become a leader. We enjoy students that think they are too old or out of shape to do this. We encourage students to do their best and then don't quit. The steps to success are START AND DON'T QUIT
