Was wowed by how absolutely beautiful and stunning the gardens and statues were! One of the largest and most beautiful gardens we've ever been to and we've been to several! I don't think anyone would be disappointed. Also, be sure to know that when you get your tickets at the gate, they are good for 7 days, so you can visit again within that time frame. Cute gift shop too! Highly recommend this place! Great for couples, families, girl trips, etc. Something for everyone!

Love this place!!! They are all very helpful at the welcome center and throughout the gardens. The animals all look like they love being there and the gardens are all so beautiful. You can take the shuttle to your destination but the walk is so nice. We go every May when the weather is just perfect.

We went for the garden experience, but totally enjoyed the incredible sculptures throughout! This place is immense, be sure to plan at least 2 days there (tickets are good for 6 or 7 days).

About Brookgreen Gardens

Brookgreen Gardens now adorns more than 400 acres of gardens and facilities with more than 2,000 works of art. A National Historic Landmark, Brookgreen Gardens' staff and volunteers educate guests on the property’s plantation history and the gardens’ evolution during seasonally shifting programs, exhibitions, and tours. The Lowcountry History exhibit chronicles the narrative of the land from Native American occupation through the present, archaeological sites unearth information about life on rice plantations, and the zoo beckons the intellectually curious with its native wildlife.
