Through August 11, the gardens run their Cool Summer Evenings open Wednesday–Friday until 9 p.m. Different bands and groups will appear for concerts, and Thursdays host family night with kids’ activities and a pirate adventure on the pontoon boat. Additionally, the “Whispering Wings” butterfly exhibit is open from April–October and admission is available for is a small additional charge.
About Brookgreen Gardens
Brookgreen Gardens now adorns more than 400 acres of gardens and facilities with more than 2,000 works of art. A National Historic Landmark, Brookgreen Gardens' staff and volunteers educate guests on the property’s plantation history and the gardens’ evolution during seasonally shifting programs, exhibitions, and tours.
