$2,499 for a Blade-Free LASIK Procedure ($5,200 Value)
Dr. Michael Mazaheri corrects nearsightedness (myopia) with this blade-free Advanced PRK procedure. After eyes have been deemed eligible, Dr. Mazaheri takes a thorough set of measurements to guide the laser's path. The lasers then resurface the outer layer of the cornea, correcting myopic prescriptions -3.00 and up, as well as up to +0.50 diopters of astigmatism (each additional diopter is $75). The procedure can also be used for farsightedness (hyperopia) up to +3.00 for an additional fee of $250. After the procedure, patients are furnished with protective eyewear for their trip home and benefit from a year of follow-up appointments.
The M Mazaheri Lasik Center
Dr. Michael Mazaheri, a board-certified eye physician and surgeon with thousands of LASIK procedures under his belt, used to be legally blind, with 20/400 vision. Looking for a solution more permanent than a new set of contacts, Dr. Mazaheri opted for his own blade-free LASIK procedure. After measuring his own eyes, setting up the laser parameters, and spending less than a minute under his laser array, Dr. Mazaheri's corneas were treating his brain to images sharper than the point of Albert Einstein’s broadsword. Based on his own success, blade-free LASIK is what Dr. Mazaheri calls "the ultimate experience in our laser room," the crowning procedure of the wide range of corrective laser surgeries he offers.
