DiCicco's Old Town Clovis
In 1956, Mama and Papa DiCicco opened their first Italian restaurant with their four sons. The family worked happily side by side, singing Italian songs as they tossed pizza dough, which helped them build a reputation as a family-friendly place for both fun and stellar pizza. In the intervening decades, the eatery has expanded to more than 10 locations—too many spots for the DiCicco clan to run alone, but the convivial atmosphere and pizza remain. The cooks at each location top the signature DiCicco Special pie with sausage, pepperoni, beef meatballs, and salami, plus an assortment of veggies. Other dishes run the gamut from white pizza, traditionally carried as a bridal accessory, to Italian classics such as calamari and eggplant parmesan.
