For the professional detailing package, techs perform all services included in the Silver package, plus additional Scotchgard and paint-sealer applications. Vehicles bask in a hand-wash and chamois dry, moderate bug and tar removal, and hand-application of wax. A cleansing specialist also purges doorjambs of dirt, dresses tires and trim, wipes down interiors, windows, and mirrors, and vacuums interior and trunk. The second option includes a Rain-X windshield treatment that can help drivers see during rain by deflecting water. Double Take Auto Detailing typically asks customers to drop off vehicles at 8:30 a.m. and return between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m.
