Fitness-camp sessions take place at 6 p.m. Monday–Friday. Geared toward those looking to get in shape, the mostly indoor sessions consist of cardio and resistance training and provide clients with healthy eating advice.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7 p.m., Standly Johnson leads through slow, gentle movements, deep breathing, and meditation during 90-minute tai chi classes. The classes aim to improve the body’s energy flow, which in turn improves students’ physical and mental health.
At Finesse Bodywork, fitness trainers create custom fitness programs that guide clients through five important steps on their path to health and wellness. First, they inquire about each client's medical background and their fitness and nutrition practices to glean an understanding of their current health. Then, the client works with the fitness trainer to set individual goals, which they use to design personalized workouts and nutritional guidelines. They then follows through on helping clients adhere to their wellness plans, guiding them during workout sessions and providing encouragement to help them stick to food plans.
