Foothills Art Center
Since 1968, Foothills Art Center has been committed to delivering engaging exhibitions and diverse educational programs to adults and children. The main gallery, which houses world-famous artworks, is located in an 1872 Gothic church on the US National Registry of Historic Buildings.
Exhibits: from June 13 through August 30, Foothills will present Ansel Adams: Masterworks, a traveling exhibition of 48 works from the legendary photography Ansel Adams (1902-1984). The photographs focus on the visual splendor of natural environments such as the Sierra Nevada, Yosemite Valley, and New Mexico, showcasing the importance Adams placed on these places and the way he influenced their national legends. Also on display will be examples of mountaineering photography from the late 19th century to the present from Vittorio Sella and Bradford Washburn.
Don't Miss: the Ansel Adams lecture series, STEaM summer camp for kids and art classes ranging from drawing, watercolor, manga anime, and more!
